High School Exam Schedule

Exams may run longer than posted on this schedule.  Students will not be released until ALL exams are completed.  There will be NO phone-in/email/fax early release for students due to safety reasons.  If you plan for your student to leave at any time after exams have been officially completed, the student must have a written note from the parent/guardian or you need to plan to come inside to sign out your student.  The note must have student name, the date leaving, time leaving (“when exams are over”), and parent/guardian signature. Do not send a single note for all four exam days.  A student must bring a note for each day he or she intends to leave early.  If you have scheduled an appointment for your student that forces them to leave before 12:30 on exam days, please reschedule the appointment.  If it is a court or doctor appointment that cannot be rescheduled, your student needs to plan to take their test on Friday, January 18th and attend the appointment.

Friday, January 18th  is a regular school day. Students who do not attend will be counted absent.  The absence will count toward the total absences for the semester. If Friday makes a student miss more than the appropriate days, the student will receive a FA.  Students may write a waiver letter explaining their total absences for the semester and make up time on January 22nd with a teacher.

In case of inclement weather…

  • School closed - testing window moves to Jan 15-18 with make-ups on Jan 22-23. Semester would still end on the 18th
  • 2 hour delay - testing could begin after a modified lunch schedule
  • 3 hour delay - testing could not happen due to not enough time for lunch, testing and on-time dismissal
