After working in the corporate world and working as a the "Director the Childhood Development" at the Thompson household (aka "stay at home mom"), I decided to pursue my purpose and personal goal of becoming a professional school counselor. I recently earned my Master's degree in School Counseling from Capella University. After living in the Atlanta metro area for 16 years, my family moved to Mooresville in June, 2012. My husband and I are the proud parents of two daughters and two four-legged boys. We absolutely love the Lake Norman area and are thankful to be part of such a wonderful community. My hobbies and interests include: all things UGA (Gooo Dawgs!), spending time with family & friends, my daughters' sporting events, swimming, reading (especially the Outlander series), projects which inspire creativity, and travel.
