My Classroom Mission
Every child in our class will learn to read, do math, write, and perform other skills so that we will be able to go to third grade. We will set goals, practice, encourage our classmates, and listen to our teacher.
I am from the very small town of Beaulaville, NC, about 75 minutes from Wilmingtion. I miss it's unique, country atmosphere but I love the friendly, down-to-earth people in Harmony. I am a "people person" and can become friends with a stranger when given the opportunity. I love children and the elderly. I am compassionate and loving person and accepting of differences. I cherish my own children, Colson and Julia, who are answers to many prayers. I spend a lot of time renovating my 130 year old house and working in my yard.
I love music and I am learning to play guitar. I enjoy socializing with friends. People tell me that I am creative and have a knack for decorating. I love flowers, chocolate, cheese, and a Granny Smith apple smeared with peanut butter. I prefer being outdoors, especially in Autumn, when pumpkins and sunflowers are everywhere.

Experience has taught me...
I am not in the profession of education to teach children but rather I am in the profession of children to provide them with an education.
