My mission is to create knowledgeable and scientifically literate problem solvers. I encourage curiosity and inquiry, while bringing current, real-world science into the classroom experience.
I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a BS in Meteorology in 2014 and am pursuing a MS in Geosciences from the Mississippi State University. I began my career as a meteorologist in Florida, but had a change of heart after a year and a half into my career. Teaching students about the world of science has been very rewarding and truly enjoying. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two dogs. We are a very active family and spend most of our time outdoors hiking, kayaking and snowboarding.
