I was born and raised in North Carolina. I have lived as far east as Wilson, NC, as far west as Waynesville, NC and various locations in between. I moved to Mooresville in 1985 and graduated from Mooresville Senior High School in 1990. I received my associates degree from Mitchell Community College. I received my bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University. I am currently enrolled at East Carolina University.
My wife, Renee, and I live in Statesville, NC. She is also a teacher in the Iredell-Statesville School District. Together we have 3 boys. I have 6 children in all.
I began my career with Iredell-Statesville Schools in an elementary Exceptional Children's class. I love my work and the students. I love their genuineness, honesty, and unconditional acceptance of others.
