I'm a native New Yorker, living, working and teaching in NYC for the past 8 years. I have my BFA and Masters in Art & Design Education from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. I minored in Ceramics during my education, learning how to develop my own clay bodies and glaze recipes. I am also an avid painter, specializing in watercolors with botanical inspired imagery as my main focus. I love using different techniques and processes in my art. This past summer I went to Maine for a week long teaching fellowship. I had the great pleasure of infusing technology into my work, via laser cutting and CNC machining (images below).

When I'm not in the school studio getting dirty and teaching some of Lake Norman's finest students, you'll find me outdoors, enjoying the beautiful North Carolina weather, or inside cooking. I love to travel as well and last spring went to Greece with my family! Next year I plan to go to Italy and France.
