    My Classroom Mission

Students will discover that there are many facets of the visual arts that we can apply a multitude of undiscovered strengths and talents through, encouragement, determination, and consistency. A good attitude, a willingness to try new things, a sense of exploration and curiosity to meet our individual needs and that of our projects. Learning how to combine both traditional and current media techniques to create art.

    About Me

Welcome to Art! As Brawley Middle school’s art teacher I look forward to an exciting fresh start with new ideas and experiences!  I am a proud graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Graphic Design in 1997. After moving to Mooresville, NC nearly ten years ago I attained a Masters of Art in Teaching from the University of Charlotte NC in 2013 to pursue my passion for teaching art and design. As Brawley Middle’s new art teacher I am looking forward to sharing the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my design career, to encourage and facilitate the skills, necessary to support well rounded visual art students.
