    About Me
I am a Statesville native and have lived here my whole life.  I am graduate of West Iredell High School, Mitchell Community College and Gardner-Webb University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  I recieved my education licensure from NC State University.
Prior to working in education I worked in customer service and accounting for over 15 years. I began my career with Iredell-Statesville Schools in 2014 as the Accountability Coordinator for the IMPACT Grant.  2018-2019 will be my third year teaching CTE classes at Crossroads Arts and Science Early College. CTE stands for Career and Technical Education and the classes I teach at Crossroads focus on business and finance.
Outside of school I'm a proud mom to my son, Gabriel, who serves our country in the Army National Guard.  I am an active member of Monticello Baptist where I work in the church office and sing in the choir.  In my free time I volunteer, work out at Crossfit, enjoy antiquing & live music, and going to the mountains or beach.
