    Welcome to biology which is the in-depth study of living things.  In my classroom, we will be learning the structure and functions of living organisms, ecosystems, evolution, genetics, and molecular biology.
    Students will need to be able to:
    • Identify the parts, functions, and processes of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells
    • Identify the principals of genetics (classical, molecular, and technological)
    • Identify the characteristics related to the organism in the classification system
    • Understand the basic concepts of evolution and how it relates to human, plant, and animal development
    • Understand the basic ecological principals and be able to recognize the impact due to human species 

    Materials needed for the class: 

    • Composition Notebook

    • Pens/pencils

    • Sissors 

    • Glue Sticks

    • Colored Pencils

    I graduated Mitchell Community College in 2012 with an A.S. degree.  I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2015 with a B.S. degree in biology and secondary education.
