My Classroom Mission
We come to speech and language to work hard to improve our speech and language skills so we can become effective and efficient communicators at school, home and in the community!
In class, we can work on a variety of different skills which include: articulation (how we produce sounds), expressive and receptive language, using communication devices, fluency, social skills and listening.
Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! This is my sixth year at Woodland Heights Elementary. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from Appalachian State University and a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I enjoy working with the students at WHE and helping them reach their speech and language goals! I look forward to another great year with the students, staff and families!
