Welcome to Mrs. Land's Webpage!Kristie LandAbout Me
I have been in education for 19 years. I was a first grade teacher, a fourth grade writing teacher, and literacy facilitator before taking a few years off when I had my daughter. Then I returned to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District as an Academic Facilitator at Davidson Elementary. I am beginning my 7th year at Woodland Heights. For the past 6 years, I have been the Instructional Facilitator. This year I am beginning the exciting journey as the Assistant Principal at this amazing school!
I live in Mooresville with my wonderful husband, Patrick, my beautiful daughter, Madison. We also have a chocolate lab named Jake, who just turned 4 years old and there are many days that he is lucky he's cute! Last year we added to the furry family with Briggs, our Cocker Spaniel. I love traveling, reading, going to GWU football games and of course shopping (shoes in particular)!Education: BA in Elementary Education from Gardner-Webb University Masters in Reading, Language & Literacy - UNCC
School Administration Degree - Wingate University
