    Classroom Mission

All students will succeed in passing their online class.

    About Online Classes

    • Students will have a scheduled block during the day in which they will work on their online class.
    • ISS/NCVPS provides North Carolina students with expanded academic options by offering online courses in credit recovery, standard, honors, advanced placement, and collegiate courses.
    • All NCVPS courses meet the curriculum content standards that are set forth by the Department of Public Instruction, and all of our courses meet the recognized quality assurance standards for e-learning courses. Students are taught by highly qualified, NC-certified teachers, and the grades that they earn in their NCVPS course will transfer to their local school and become part of their academic record.
    • Students will have a pacing guide provided by each teacher and it will need to be checked daily for assignments that are due.
    • Each student is expected to participate in all assignments.
    • It is important that all assignments are submitted by the due date to avoid receiving a failing grade.
    • You will need a 1" or 1 1/2" binder to keep your work in.
    • Communication with your teacher and fellow students will be an extremely important part of your class.  Your best netiquette behavior is expected.
    • Teachers have a 24 hour time limit to respond to your emails.
