I get the question all the time... What does an instructional facilitator do?
Here is a list of a few things I do:
-Provide professional development on early release days
-Provide follow-up of professional development activities
-Provide resources and information to teachers
-Demonstrate, co-teach, and assist new instructional methods
-Support the collaborative teams (PLCs, SIT, ect.)
-Support teachers in the classroom in any way possible
-Support the administration
-Support the mentoring program for new teachers-Support the C.O.M.P.A.S.S. team and district initiatives-MTSS Coordinator
