    My Mission Statement
    I want to provide and instill within students and staff the wisdom and joy of reading and a desire to create more informed literate citizens.
     
    About Me
    I was born in Statesville and educated in Iredell-Statesville Schools.I graduated from Catawba Colllege
    College in Salisbury; my area of certification is Language Arts 6-12, English 9-12, AIG K-12.   My National Board Certification is Early Adolescent English/Language Arts. While at EMS I have taught grades 6, 7, and 8 and served as our school's Literacy Coach from 2007-2010. Since 2012, I became Instructional Facilitator at EMS.
