    About Me
Mr. Jim Williams, Career Development Coordinator
I am married with three children. My wife Nan and I both graduated from South Iredell. Our daughter attended the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina and is now completing her residency at the Children's Hospital in New Orleans.  We have one son who is serving in the Army at Fort Bragg and the other is attending UNC Charlotte.
I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and worked in business for twenty years before becoming a teacher.  I received my teaching credentials from Appalachian State University. I completed my Masters program in Instructional Technology through Appalachian.
My family enjoys animals. We take care of five horses, three dogs and several cats on our farm outside of Troutman.  Working on the farm helps me to relax and stay close to my family.
I sponsor the National Technical Honor Society here at South. The NTHS is a honor society for students who have excelled in Career and Technical Classes.  Students receive graduation honors and recognition.
I look forward to working with you and hope that your high school experience is a great one.  Remember that you only have one chance to make your high school memories so work hard and be all you can be.
