    About Me
I grew up in Iredell and nearby Rowan County, then headed to Raleigh after high school where I obtained a degree in Agricultural Education in the College of Agriculture at NC State University. I also have a minor in Horticulture and Poultry Science. I finished my Masters in Agricultural Education at North Carolina A & T University in December of 2009. Most recently, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. I have been a student for 25 years!!! Learning never ends!
After graduating at NC State, I was able to move back home and work at Lake Norman High School as an agriculture teacher for nine years and am currently in my first year at North Iredell High School.

I am blessed with a wonderful family. I've been married to my wonderful husband, Addison for 5 years now & we have 2 little boys who make each day even better than we thought it could be. We enjoy spending time together outdoors. We love to work in our garden, fish and hunt together and travel when time permits, but most of all, we just enjoy the simple things in life like family and the outdoors!
