Welcome to Science!Mrs. Beth Garver, NBCT
In Science class our mission is to have 100% of the students pass the NCSE at the end of the year. We will try our hardest to make good grades, stay organized and do our homework, make new friends, and have fun while being on task. We also plan to explore new exploits!
Welcome! I will be your child's 6th grade science or math teacher this school year. This is going to be a wonderful year at Brawley! My family includes my husband, two sons and daughter. I have a lovely granddaughter. I have one child in college this year in Wilmington!I've taught all grades from Grades 1-7 and really look forward to teaching science this year. I received my undergraduate degree from Juniata College in PA and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University in SC with an emphasis in science education. I taught in South Carolina, Virginia, and my favorite NC. I earned my National Boards for the Professionalism of Teaching Certification in 2003 and renewed my National Boards in 2013. In 2006, I became a Certified Environmental Educator. I am certified to teach grades K-8 all subjects. This year will begin my 33rd year of teaching, and I love my job! I value education and hope that we will have a great year learning together.
