    My Classroom Mission
My mission is to create a positive learning environment for all students.
    • I will provide appropriate and challenging opportunities for learning.
    • I will guide all students and assist them in developing the skills that they need in order to be successful throughout their school career and life.
    • I believe it is essential to have clear and consistent communication between students, parents, and other staff who interact with my students to accomplish these goals.
    • I believe that ALL students have the ability to learn and grow.
    • I encourage my students to set goals, and work towards them.
    • I strive to find ways to develop a love of learning in each student.

    All About Me!

My name is Sara Webb. I have taught third grade at LNE for six years. I taught both 4th and 5th grades at Troutman Elementary prior to coming to LNE. I am so excited to be back in 5th grade this year!
I am very passionate about teaching reading and helping students to develop a love of learning!
I love the LNE community, and feel it is one of the best schools in the state.  I live in the community, and have family in the community.  I love living close to my family.  My niece and nephew, Caitlyn and Jackson, were students at LNE who have now moved both on to Mount Mourne IB Middle School.  I love to travel, especially to Disney World!
On New Years Eve 2016, I brought home the most adorable puppy named Walter.  He is a lab/newfoundland mix, and is a ball of love.  He was 7 weeks old and less than 10 weeks old when I rescued him. Now, he is more 1 1/2 years old and more than 70 lbs.  He is the best puppy!

As a teacher, I believe that it is my responsibility to push each student to perform at their maximum ability. Third grade is a year that brings about some major changes for students.  They are transitioning into a period where they will develop more individual responsibility.  They will be learning independence, and deeper social relationships.  I have taught PreK, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  My focus is to support every student to make great growth! You will be amazed at the growth you see in your student over the next year.
