    My Classroom Mission
    We will strive to meet the requirements for "The Healthy Fitness Zone" measured by the Fitnessgram Assessment.  We will achieve this by always participating in class and working to the best of our ability in every class.
     
     
     
    About Me
     
    I graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1983.  I attended Gardner-Webb University from 1983-1987 where I played volleyball, basketball, and softball.  From 1987-1989, I served as a Graduate Assistant for the volleyball and softball teams under the direction of Dr. Dee Hunt.  From 1990 - 1995, I served as Head Volleyball and Softball coach at Gardner-Webb University. I am in my 22nd year at Brawley Middle in which I teach Physical Education and coach volleyball at Brawley. I was Brawley Middle's Teacher of the Year (1998-1999) and I was recognized as a National Board Certified Teacher in 2002.
