Students will have three days during the first nine-weeks to complete missing work. For the second nine-weeks, students will have 2 days, the third nine-weeks 1 day and the fourth nine-weeks no late work will be accepted. Late assignments (except when absent) will be given a grade of 50%.

    My Classroom Mission:
The students of Mrs. Baldwin’s LA classes will learn something new and interesting everyday.  We will learn to our full potential in grammar, reading, writing, and vocabulary with the help of teachers, parents, peers, and our desire to learn.  We will use this knowledge to help us in the rest of our education, career, and life.  We will accomplish this mission by trying our best and working hard everyday while having fun.
    About Me:
Originally I am from PA, but now consider NC home.  The weather and southern hospitality has won me over.  I played soccer for Millersville University and graduated in 1999 with a BS in English Education.  I have taught Language Arts and coached soccer at BMS for 16 years.  Previously I taught 8th grade Language Arts in the Charlotte-Meckelenburg school system.  In 2012 I earned a masters in middle grades education from Gardner-Webb University.  BMS has been a great environment and I look forward to teaching here for years to come.
