Music Mission Grades K - 2
We will work together to develop our music skills in every class. We will always try to do our best to follow directions and participate in music class activities.
Music Mission Grades 3 - 5
We will work together to develop our music skills by singing, playing instruments, listening, improvising, composing, reading and notating music, analyzing music, evaluating music performances, understanding music in relation to history and culture. We will accomplish this by following directions, actively participating and being respectful during music class lessons.
"I'm certain that heaven is filled with the sound of children singing. I get to experience a little bit of heaven every day."
I am so excited to be at LNE! Our kids are awesome! This is my 13th year as the music teacher here.
I graduated from Pfeiffer College with a B. A. in Music Education and Church Music. My specialty area is Voice.
I love to sing. I'm currently a member of the Chancel Choir at Davidson United Methodist Church. I've been singing as long as I can remember. Here's a photo of me singing on my grandma's lap when I was a baby.
I started studying piano at age 4 and voice at age 14. I have been playing and singing for a long time! I also play (and teach) guitar, and I'm currently learning to play the banjo. (In honor of my dad - he loved bluegrass music!)
My daughter, Taylor, is in the above photo with me. We have two cats that love music! Miss Boo (left) likes to listen and Midnight (right) likes to dance...well, sort of.
