"To the world you may be one person, but to one person you are the world."
My Classroom Mission
When we come to Mrs. Farr's class, we will do our best to achieve our math and reading goals. We will do this by helping each other, working together, sharing our ideas and always trying our hardest.
This is my 13th year teaching in the Exceptional Childrens' Program. I spent the first nine years teaching in a self contained classroom at East Elementary. This is my fourth year at Cool Spring and I really love it here.
I am originally from a very small town in northern New York. I graduated from the State University of New York at Potsdam with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and my Master's in Special Education. Mr. Farr and I moved here in 1998 just one month after we were married. We intended on staying in North Carolina just a couple of years, but as you can tell, we really like it here and plan on staying.
My daughter and son attend Cool Spring Elementary and Mr. Farr also works here as the school counselor. It is really cool that we all get to come to school together every day.
In my free time I like to take walks, read books, scrapbook and spend time with my family.
