My Classroom Mission
The kindergarten, first, and second grade students will learn new skills to help them play games and help them be healthy. We will do this by playing in Physical Education class and having fun.
The third, fourth, and fifth grade students will work hard to improve our Fitnessgram scores, to be healthy, and to learn new skills. We will do this by participating, working together, and trying our best.
I was born in Alabama and later move to Virginia. I attended King College on a basketball scholorship, but transfered to Emory and Henry College where I continued my basketball career and was an all-conference player. I graduated from Emory and Henry College in 1994 and received my Master's in Health Science from the University of Alabama in 2009. I began my teaching career in Wythe County, Virginia. I taught physical education, health, and driver's education at Fort Chiswell High School for 5 years. While teaching there I coached basketball, volleyball, track and tennis. I then moved to Max Meadows Elementary School and taught grades k-7 and continued my coaching as well. I began teaching in Iredell County in 2003 and have been at Cool Spring for all of those years. My hobbies include running, playing sports and cheering on the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Roll Tide!!
