Chinese Cultural ExchangeIn February 2016, Iredell-Statesville Schools began a partnership with the public schools of Beijing, China for a cultural exchange program. In late summer, we will be welcoming back a group of high school students to attend school for the 2016-2017 school year.District in Need of Host FamiliesI-SS Employee, Herbert Vanegas and wife, Natsumi hosted three Chinese exchange students during their short-term stay in January 2016.The district is currently looking for host families that will consider taking these students into their hearts and homes. If you are interested in being a host family for the Chinese Cultural Exchange, please go to tbiedu.us to apply to be a host family. A background check must be completed by all host family members over 18 years of age that live in the house.
