Career exploration in middle school begins with a unit focusing on the global awareness, the importance of work, and how career choices impact the student's future. Students begin to see the connection that math, language arts and science plays in preparing them for high school, college and their career. Students are encouraged to demonstrate positive behavior based on Leader In Me (7-Habits). Other activities include a major research project that they present with a power point presentation.
