Hello and welcome to Lakeshore Elementary Technology Lab! I am looking forward to another fun-filled learning experience and hope you and your child are as well. This is my fourth year at LES in the computer lab!
I have been teaching for 11 years. I am excited to be at Lakeshore Elementary this year as the technology teacher. I have taught a variety of grades throughout my eleven years (5th, 3rd, 1st, 2nd and technology). I graduated from the University of South Carolina (GO GAMECOCKS!!!). I completed my Master's degree from Appalachian State University. I have been married for ten years. I have two major hobbies that I enjoy; my daughter Caroline and USC football!!! I am originally from Campobello, South Carolina, which is very close to Spartanburg. My first teaching job was at my former elementary school teaching 3rd grade. When Brad and I married, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee. In TN I taught 3rd grade at Lipscomb Elementary. We moved here seven years ago for my husband's job at Lowe's Corporate. He has since started to work with a Lowe's vendor called Sedgwick CMS handling work compensation claims for American Airline.
I am very excited to get to know each parent and student!! We are going to have a WONDERFUL year. If you need me at any time please email me at rburry@iss.k12.nc.us. I check my email throughout the day and at home.
