•  Zoe Williams painting herself
Hello, folks!  Welcome to the art room!
My name is Zoe Williams and I have been teaching art since 1994.
I am from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, but have taught only in the beautiful south.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Art Education at Pennsylvania State University in 1992
and National Board Certification in 2008.
I first started teaching in Madison and Greene Counties, Virginia at the elementary and high school levels for six years before moving to Iredell County in 2000.  Then I taught at Harmony and Union Grove Elementary Schools until 2007 when I started teaching at North Iredell High School.
I am an active member in th Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA) which seeks to educate folks about medieval and Renaissance history and culture.  That's where I met my husband, Berry!  I am a dance band musician and director for European and Middle Eastern dances in the SCA.
I play hammered dulcimer and mandolin and love to sing, even if my voice is warbly.  I am a costume designer, potter, origami enthusiast, drawer, painter, graphic designer, sculptor.  I guess you could say I am a Jill of All Trades!
Art Club is for any NIHS student who wishes to beautify the campus.
Bring your creative mind and come hang out with other art enthusiasts.
    Art Club meets  Thursdays, 3:15-4:30pm.
