• Welcome Cool Spring Elementary's Library Page!

    Veronica Williams, Librarian

“A good library will never be too neat, or too dusty, because somebody will always be in it, taking books off the shelves and staying up late reading them.” -- Lemony Snicket

"I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a good book." -- JK Rowling

The library hours are from 7:05 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Parents are invited to check out books, for two weeks.

Mission of the Cool Spring Library
The mission of the Cool Spring Elementary School Media Center is to encourage, promote, and assist students and teachers so that they can be effective users of ideas and information. The library is a place for students and teachers to study, complete research, and ask questions, so that we all can be lifelong learners.

Students are welcome to return and check out books every day. The library has an open door policy for students to check out books any time throughout the school day.

    Checking out Materials:
Library books are checked out for fifteen days.

Kindergarten & First Grade may check out one book.
Second through Fifth graders may check out two books.
We do not charge for overdue books. If a student has a late book, it needs to be returned before continuing to check out other materials.
If a book is lost or damaged, the student is responsible for paying to replace or fix it.

    Library Expectations:

    1. Always walk when moving around the library.

    2. Use a quiet voice to talk to your friends.
    3. Do your best.
Respect the library, respect others and respect yourself!
