Yaks live in mountainous Tibet. Yaks have horns. The yak weighs from 400 to 1800 pounds. Yaks are herbivores. They eat plants. Like cows, they swallow their food without chewing it. Female yaks and their young calves travel in herds. They have a life span of about 20 years. I have never seen a yak!
