Iredell-Statesville Schools has telephone service at all locations in the School District.All services are plain old telephone service (“POTS”) and do not include any Centrex services.Voice service is provided to 36 buildings.This includes telephone service to 16 elementary schools, 10 middle schools, 5 high schools, one alternative school, three central/administrative office locations, and one bus garage.Types of telephone service at all locations are single lines and key system lines to all locations except one primary central office location.The primary central office location uses PBX trunks and DID PBX trunks.Voice mail may be part of the key system, PBX system or leased through a vendor.Goals include adequate and appropriate phone service in each school.
