Introduction 

"A told B and B told C, 'I'll meet you at the top of the coconut tree'"
Can ABC's walk and talk?  Have you ever seen them run up a tree?  Have you fallen down
before and gotten hurt?  What did your mom and dad do?  Read on and see what happened to all the letters at the "Coconut Tree". Let's follow letters A B and C! 
 
 


The Task

After listening to the story Chicka Chicka Boom Boom your team will:

  1.  Draw a picture related to the story and write a sentence about your picture
  2.  Play alphabet games
  3.  Count the letters
  4.  Make a Coconut tree
  5.  Paint a picture of a coconut tree 



The Process

Day 1.   Listen to the story 

  Play one or both of the alphabet games.

Day 2.  Count the letters of the alphabet.    Play one or both of the alphabet games.

Day 3. Look at pictures about coconut trees. 
 
 
  How to Plant Types of Coconut Trees Uses of Coconut

 Can you guess which one is a Coconut Tree?   Test and print out page. 
 

Use the printout to cut out and stamp letters of your name "running" up the tree.(click on tree for printout) * art project on teacher page.
 

Day 4.   Paint a  coconut tree and try to write at least three letters.(click on tree for paint picture)
 
 

Homework:  Print out the story.  Take it home and let mom or dad read it to you.
                      Draw a picture of the story and bring it back to school
