Please do this the morning of 8/24/07. This process activates your students so attendance can be taken.
Any new student that you admit after registering your students, remember to answer YES to create attendance record. If you will not be at school on 8/24/07, please let me know and I will register your students for you.
-- Elementary / Middle: Print class record sheets for homeroom teachers to use for attendance.
Day 1:
--Elementary / Middle: Have teachers take attendance on the class record sheet (on Paper).
--High: Teachers take attendance in NCWISE for all classes.
--Add names to class record sheet as new students enroll.
--Reverse register any student no in attendance by 11am!! (main menu>change student>register>click on reverse register>save)
*DO NOT MARK any studnet absent in NCWISE on day 1.
*High School: Make sure to delete any class absences before reverse registering students.
*Kinders are NOT to be reverse registered if schools are using staggered enrollment.
*Students out "sick" are to be reverse registered.
--Admit students as normal. The registration date is the first day attendance will be taken for the student.
--Withdraw / no show students who you know will not be attending your school.
--Verify the enrollment numbers when Laura emails them out.
Day 2-9:
--Elementary / Middle: Have teachers take attendance on the class record sheet (on Paper) AND teachers begin taking attendance in NCWISE.
--Admit students as normal. The registration date is the first day attendance will be taken for the student.
--Withdraw / no show students who you know will not be attending your school.
--Verify the enrollment numbers when Laura emails them out.
Day 10:
--Verify the enrollment numbers when Laura emails them out.
Day 11:
--Make sure that you have made every effort to locate students who are no shows. Then Laura will need a list of all no shows.
