The parrot lives in the canopy layer of the rainforest.  The parrot mainly eats fruit, nuts, seeds and buds, nectar, and  pollen.  The parrot usually lives in the South Pacific, in Indonesia, and New Guinea.  The  parrots' nickname is wing-flower.  The males are almost entirely emerald green.   The parrot family includes the macaws, cockatoos, parakeets, and other groups.  The females have deep scarlet red heads.  These are Solomon Island Parrots.  They are the  smallest.  African Gray Parrots live along the rivers and mangrove - swamps.  Their diet is the same as the Solomon Island Parrot.  The Gray Parrot's habitat is the canopy layer of the rainforest.  The Gray Parrots are the best talking parrots.  The nickname for this bird is the Cadillac of Parrots.  Some parrots have long beaks and all of the parrots are colorful.
