They are brightly colored in red, yellow, and blue. They usually have pale yellow eyes. The Macaw lives in the tree tops of the Canopy and Emergent layers of the rainforest . The Macaw usually eats fruits, seeds, and nuts. The Macaw cracks nuts with its sharp beak. Some of the Macaw's habits are flying and talking. Macaws are great ''screamers''. Their bones are hollow to help them fly better. Macaws like gathering at ''lick'' areas to eat minerals and salt bearing clay. It is important for them to have calcium in their diet. They're good climbers and clumsy on the ground.
