Lemurs are found in Europe, America, and Asia.  Most of their time is spent in the trees where they exist on a diet of leaves, fruit, insects, and lizards.  They spend a lot of time grooming themselves.  They like to climb from tree trunk to tree trunk.  They give birth to one or two young.  Lemurs resemble monkeys.  Some species of lemurs are nocturnal, which means that they sleep during the day and hunt at night, and some are not.  There enemies are humans, owls, and, the Harrier hawk .  There are many different species of lemurs.  Many species lemurs are extinct.  Most lemurs can live up to 18 years .  A blue-eyed black lemur can live 20-30 years.
