A Gorilla's habitat is the Mountain rainforest. The Gorilla can weigh up to 200 to 400 lbs. The Gorilla's diet is fruit, roots, and leaves. The western lowland Gorilla are found in African countries. Gorillas are endangered animals mainly due to loss of habitat and poaching. There are many subspecies of Gorillas: Western lowland gorilla, Eastern lowland gorilla, Cross River gorilla, Bwindi gorilla, Grauer gorilla, and Mountain gorilla.  Gorillas mate all year round and usually have one single baby.
