A gecko will eat anything smaller than them including your finger.  Geckos need a lot of space as  they  grow bigger.   Geckos live in trees and under rocks.  Geckos live for 27 years.  They also can grow to 35cm .  Geckos live in every place in the world except Antartica.  Geckos get their name because of their chirping that sounds like "gecko."  On the bottom of their feet they have microscopic hairs.  Geckos are one of the few types of lizards that are harmless.  The geckos characteristics are very distinct for each indvidual gecko.  Some are all kinds of different colors some are red to blue to green to rainbow.  Their feet can grab onto glass.  Geckos lay eggs the size of pennies.
