The scientific name for a Green Sea Turtle is Chelonia Mydas. It is about foor feet long and weights 440 pounds. Its shell is shaped like a heart. Its color is variable. There is about 600000 still living. Nesting occurs at 2, 3, or 4 eggs a year. It takes 13 to 19 days to hatch. They are found in shallow waters.
