The scientific name for Kemps ridley sea turtle is Lepidochelys kempi. It can lay 110 eggs. It takes 50 to 70 days to hatch. Adults weigh between 77 and 99 pounds. They are 22 to 30 inches long. The Kimps ridley is a small to mediumsized sea turtle with a very broad, heart shaped shell.
