Fort Dobbs was named after Arthur Dobbs. He was voted for one of the troops. Fort Dobbs was built in 1756. The Great Britians extended from the coast to this very same fort. The soldiers were losing power against the French. It is located in the Piedmont region. It is on Fort Dobbs Rd. Many people go there to see the fort.
