The scientific name is Myotis sodalis. It is black all
over with fuzzy fur all over.
During September they depart for hibernation caves.
They hibernate from October to April depending on climate and conditions.
A few males are found in caves during summer. Between early August and
the middle of September, Indian Bats arrive near their hibernation caves.
