School Start Time Study and Survey
Area Advisory Councils act as influential
focus groups for the Iredell-Statesville Schools Board of Education
and provide the board with parent and
community perspective and guidance on both on-going issues and strategic
planning priorities for the public school
system. Meetings are open to the public and are held regularly
in each area of the county: North Iredell,
West Iredell, Statesville Area, and Southern Iredell.

The Agenda will be posted at least a week prior to each meeting on the Meeting Information website.

Area Advisory Thursday,
All meetings will begin at 7:00 pm in the media center of North Iredell Middle School |
Area Advisory Tuesday,
All meetings will begin at 7:00 pm in the media center of Lake Norman Elementary School |
Area Advisory Monday,
All meetings will begin at 7:00 pm in the media center of Statesville Middle School

All meetings will begin at 6:30 pm in the media center of West Iredell High School |
The Area Advisory begins it's second year providing two-way communication between parents and the Iredell-Statesville School Board. Area Advisory feedback on school board policies in attendance, accountability and cell phones last year directly resulted in changes to those rules.
